“Squawk” (verb): To announce urgent news with the subtlety of a startled bird—loud, sudden, and impossible to ignore, ensuring everyone’s attention is immediately captured. Dear Forestville Friends and Families, Sometimes, we just need to know what is happening RIGHT NOW.  While I’ll still be sending weekly Chirps, I’ll also be sending out SQUAWKS for those urgent updates you need to know about ASAP. So, welcome to your first Squawk! New Principal Selection – The deadline to apply to be on the selection panel and/or to provide input on the need of Forestville is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th, by COB.  Please click here to provide input! Grade Level Coffees – Our first two grade-level coffees will be held this week from 9:30-10:30 in the Forestville Cafeteria.  Join us on Thursday, September 5th for our Kindergarten Parents and Friday, September 6th for our 1st Grade Parents. ChiCeLaCu Registration Deadline Extended! – This before school Spanish Immersion Program has extended its deadline to register until September 10th to ensure that all that want to participate can do so!  ChiCeLaCu’s goal is to cement a strong language foundation, ultimately enabling students to become proficient Spanish speakers.  Register here!
